The People's Lobby
Meet the Moment

The People's Mission

We are a Colorado-based advocacy organization committed to advancing LGBTQ+ rights, equitable education, and economic justice for all. Founded by two lifelong Coloradans with diversified experience in the state legislature, we work in partnership with underserved communities, progressive nonprofits, and labor unions to build power and drive change.

Through diplomatic lobbying, grassroots organizing, targeted issue campaigns, and strategic communications, we aim to shape policies that reflect our shared values of equity, dignity, and justice. In a time of deep national uncertainty, we believe in uniting progressive forces to create a more inclusive and resilient future—for Colorado and the country.

Join Our Efforts

We are committed to championing the rights of all people and ensuring their voices are heard.

Our Commitment to Advocacy

The People’s Lobby is dedicated to enhancing public affairs through lobbying, community organizing, and issue campaign management.

LGBTQ+ Rights

Fighting for policies that protect and empower queer and trans communities. Advocating for healthcare access, trans rights, non-discrimination protections, and affirming education policies. Organizing with LGBTQ+ people on the frontlines, pushing back against anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, and building coalitions to ensure that every queer and trans person can thrive with safety and dignity.

Education

Advocating for fully funded public schools, equitable access to resources, healthy school meals, and restorative justice practices that keep kids supported—not punished. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn in a safe and supportive environment where they can thrive both academically and personally—regardless of their background or zip code.

Economic Justice

Advancing economic justice by challenging the grip of corporate power and oligarchy that puts profit over people. Organizing to raise wages, expand workers’ rights, and ensure fair taxation so the wealthy and well-connected pay their share. Pushing policies that invest in communities because every person deserves economic security, no matter their income or background.
